Invented during the original puzzle craze, the Rubik's Magic was once an official WCA event. The puzzle is played by folding the eight connected panels from a starting position to an ending position. The puzzle was removed from the WCA events due to reaching the theoretical human limit of time improvement. There are several manufactured image variants, and a number of homemade variants have been made that utilize more or less than the standard eight panels.
