Image Guidelines

Only upload pictures that you have taken yourself or pictures you have obtained explicit permission to upload from the rights holder. Do not upload images contining inappropriate material.

Uploading an image with a visible watermark, company logo, url, hashtag, or any other branding not original to the image is not allowed and the image will be deleted.

Failure to follow the rules may result in a temporary suspension of your account and repeat offences may result in a permanent ban.

Ensure the image is cropped and rotated as desired. The quality should be similar to other puzzle images on the site. Try choosing the best image or images from a set to upload. Ideally, upload images of the entire puzzle and not individual pieces/components unless necessary.

Uploads may be rejected because the image:

• contains a spoiler. DON'T DO THIS!
• is too similar to other images uploaded by the same user or to an existing image and is not of significantly better quality.
• is already in the database.
• contains inappropriate material.
• does not display properly.
• resolution is too low. Images should be at least 320x200
• is too large.
• is not well focused.
• is too dark or bright.
• has too much glare, or is obscured by a reflection from the flash.
• has too much white space.
• is sideways or upside-down.
• is submitted for the wrong item.
