Ability to Import Puzzle Collection

Import from a strictly-formatted CSV, with minimum of fuzzy-matching on name of puzzle, and suggested further matching on metadata of designer, producer, etc. This will better help match to the correct puzzle. You'll get a "best guess" of top 3 that match your puzzle, and you can choose the best one that represents your collection. If none match, you can search by keyword manually for a match (sometimes under a different name or producer), or an "add as new entry" toggle to create a new page instead for said puzzle upon import completion For large collections, this would be best to do in chunks of 50, that way a substantial state doesn't have to be held and potentially lost, and processing happens in segments

Incentivise completing listings with "bounties"

On the front page, show a small selection of very incomplete listings and offer additional buzz bits for submitting a large amount of information. Bounties would be picked randomly from listings with missing critical info, weighted by the amount of missing info (critical info being the required stuff for any puzzle like desc, goal, maker, designer, price, material, category (ies)). Add statistics on total numbers of collections containing a given puzzle

Ability to share my collection privately

I would like to share my collection privately. Currently, the system only allows this if I make my collection public. I'd like to be able to share it with others without having to make it public. Thank you!

Confirm creation of listings without photos

In order to cut down on the amount of listings created without sufficient information to identify the puzzle save for the author's train of thought, push a pop-up whenever one submits a listing without photos along the lines of "Are you sure you want to create a listing without any images?"

Currently only the Retail Price appears on the collection download spreadsheet - adding Auction Value as well would provide a more comprehensive picture of collection value.

Tracking personal copies of puzzles

I have a bunch of puzzles that I've modeled and printed for personal use. I want to track them in my collection, but I can't sell them, so I'd love a way to mark them as personal copies so they don't contribute to the collection's value. Originally, I thought hiding them from other users looking at my collection would be best, but for things like MPD Secret Santa, knowing which puzzles the other person owns/has solved is useful. That said, they probably shouldn't be eligible to be made available for sale/trade (not sure on the rules).

Puzzle variants as parent / child articles

Allow users to create variants of puzzles on the listing page for a puzzle. Adding a variant requires a unique subtitle such as appending "Ice Edition" or "Titanium Edition" to the end of the puzzle's main name "Rubik's Revolution". Variants can be browsed via a selector near the listing title, and can be collected separately by users. Variants will inherit the information associated with the base puzzle when it was made, but this info can be specified separately when needed, overriding the parent puzzles info (such as a description that adds additional information about the variant).

A first-time initiation for new accounts wherein they are asked to look over some short informational pages such as a "how to post best practices" page and what qualifies as a puzzle.

Prevent listing creation while images are uploading

Because image uploading takes a minute, prevent listing creation during the period in which photos are still uploading. Alternatively, wait to post data until uploading has completed, then finish the submission at that time. This will prevent accidental submission of listings without photos that were intended to have photos.

Remove "Unknown" from data fields when data is entered

"Unknown" is a special entry used in some data fields where the info may not be known, and possibly never known. When a list field comprises of only an "Unknown" entry and data is added to it, the "Unknown" should be removed automatically rather than asking an admin to handle it.

Add the ability to filter listings with information that could be left blank as "unspecified" in the filter dropdowns. Sorting unspecified info will allow users to find listings with missing info to fill in.

Auction site stats

Maybe show some stats on the various auction sites? Does the same puzzle show different values on different sites? How many auctions have been conducted on each site? How many in the last twelve months? This probably comes down to PP vs. Nick Baxter, but I'm still curious to see the results.

Add user-selectable additional info fields

Besides generic info fields that apply to all puzzles, add the ability for users to add additional info fields when creating a listing that can contain other helpful pieces of info that don't apply to all categories of puzzles. Also, when creating a puzzle in a given category, allow the site to automatically add additional info fields when they apply to whole categories but not all puzzles (IE twisty puzzles have many interesting mathematical data points such as "God's Number", and the "Devil's Number" which specify the maximum number of moves from solved and the number of moves required to reach all states respectively).
