Traditional Japanese-style puzzle box with non-traditional moves.
Puzzle box requires 10 non-traditional moves to open, and an additional 12 moves to further remove 4 of the side panels completely and admire the internal structure Dimensions: 6-1/2"x4-1/8"x4” Woods: The top and bottom are Cocobolo, the sides are Chechen laminated onto plywood. The veneer pattern is made from Bloodwood, Curly Maple and Chechen. The internal supports are Cherry. (N.B. Chechen is also called Caribbean Rosewood, though it is not a true Rosewood) Finish: The sides have a coat of Tung Oil. Once fully cured, the sides and the tops are further finished with a French Polished Shellac. Unique features: non-traditional moves, 4 removable side panels, included Chechen wood interlocking display stand |
