Ha, I just love adding puzzle features to everyday items.
I was touring my local building supply company and happened to notice an unfinished hardwood light switch plate cover.
Immediately I grasped at my beard while executing the best evil grin ever! I was going to design a mechanical locking system to keep one from accessing the light switch, ha!
The biggest challenge was building the puzzle in a way that the light switch had enough room to operate inside. Definitely having it all sorted out on the inside was super important, because once it was glued to the light switch plate cover, I would no longer have access to the inside, whew!
I learned that crazy ideas are usually liked by other crazy people, lol, we are all a great lot.
