Description
Designed in 1991, Quadlock 3 is a difficult to take apart 24-piece cube made from Walnut, Mahogany, and Maple. The design employs a ratcheting mechanism in the puzzle. With three false pathways and only one correct route, the puzzle requires a minimum of 22 steps to remove the first piece. Once the puzzle is fully disassembled, the reassembly is quite challenging as well. A pure joy to play and solve. Per Jerry, due to the difficulty in crafting this puzzle, less than ten copies were ever made.
Goal
Take apart the 24-piece cube and reassemble it.
