The LingAo Magic Clock was made as an attempt to create a new mass-produced clock puzzle. This version is functionally identical to an original Rubik's Clock, including the four toggle pins and four turning gears on the perimeter. With original Matchbox / Rubik's copies aging and becoming harder to find, this puzzle was a cheap and easy to get alternative. Unfortunately, the turning quality of the LingAo version is generally said to be worse than the turning of the original, and at best comparable to the original when modified and set up.
