Description | |
"Each of the six pieces is made up of three different size square plates. I made the square plates out of sandwiched Maple, Walnut and Maple, gluing them together as a plywood for strength and looks. Trevor Wood made the first copies of this Oskar design and he discovered that there were seven small cubic voids within the cube when it was assembled, two on the outer corners and five inside the cube. So, he added seven Ebony cubes to fill the voids and I decided to do the same, but I have made Pink Ivory cubes. So, remember when you take it apart make sure that you are careful and don’t have a bunch of small cubes bouncing across the floor. The cubes make the assembly a bit more challenging. You will notice a band around the exterior of the Sapele box. It also has the Maple, Walnut and Maple theme bounded by Bloodwood."
