Description | |
Lone Star Burr was Steve's exchange puzzle at IPP 41 (41st International Puzzle Party) held in Houston, Texas in July 2024.
It is a five piece 3D printed burr based around the dodecahedral geometry. A Texas star can be seen on each face. The pieces have some very unusual shapes and, although not super difficult, it can be a challenge to both take apart and put back together again. The 3D print is unusual in that it is a four colour print with each piece having been printed as a single print. For the 3D printing nerds among you each piece required around 7-800 filament changes to print. |
