DGHV1 started out as a celebration of my work to date. Every mechanism stolen directly from one of my existing puzzles. Some mechanisms only exist in one-off puzzles, so these will seem “new” to most. As the design progressed, I realised that I had created some new trickery by interacting existing mechanisms. The finished box will seem unique to returning clients.

Constructed with a marine ply carcass and finished in teak, the box is slightly smaller than my previous puzzles. 150L x 95W x 80H.
Having a fair amount of steel and aluminium within does mean it weights a hefty 800g.
