Description
One of a series of booklets produced in Hungary by hand in limited editions; their contents are made of laser cut wood.
If the tangram is submitted to an extension by a square root of 3 factor a new puzzle is created. If we chose a good orientation for the extension, the new puzzle will fit into a grid of equilateral trangles and will be interesting and fine.
There are four good directions to the extension. Two of them are by the sides of the Tangram square. These puzzles were analyzed by Nob Yoshigahara and Bernhard Wiezorke. The other two are by the diagonals of the Tangram. These puzzles are the subject of this booklet.
The booklet contains 24 more challenges.
Goal
The goal of the puzzle is to complete all the challenges. The categories:
Diagonal Tangrams, Other Rhombuses, Transformation of Tangram Figures, Figures from Diagonal Tagram 1, Figures from Diagonal Tangram 2, Convex Shapes Using All Pieces.
